About Outyard

My work is inspired by the intersection of old processes and new aesthetics. The objects I create aim to inspire people to think about craftsmanship and how it’s made. I create art for the act of eating, to connect with others, and other daily rituals.

Visually, my work reflects my local environment as an exploration on what is means to create with have you have around you. Like a cup found deep in the mountains, or a plate washed up on the shoreline, I aim to create functional ware to help find a deeper connection to nature.

More than anything, I intent to create pieces that are unique and timeless enough to last a lifetime, maybe a few.
